Question: Keyloggers are a type of malicious software that records the keystrokes that you take on your keyboard. They are especially dangerous because with the keystrokes the attacker gets, they can find username and password combinations, or other sensitive information like banking data. There are several signs that you may have a keylogger on your system that are similar to the symptoms you would see for other types of attacks, a slowdown of system, or suspicious processes being run in your task manager. Removing keyloggers can be tricky because they are usually well hidden. Some ways to remove a keylogger would be utilizing an uninstaller on your system if you can locate the keylogging software, utilizing your antivirus, or if all else fails reinstalling your operating system.
Black box testing and White box testing are different in the fact that with Black box testing the testers do not know anything, and in White box testing the testers know everything. Black box testers evaluate how a software works without worrying about the back of the house, or internal system of what they are testing. The tests are based solely on the inputs and outputs of the software. With White box testing the testers are well acquainted with the internal structure and design of what is being tested. It is much more helpful when looking for issues in the design or internal structure of a software.
