Carol is a single mother of five who is in her 40s. She left her partner five years ago due to domestic violence. She does not work and both of her children do not attend school. She has a teenage daughter who has dyslexia and does not want to attend school. Others suffer from mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. She is an immigrant, so her native language is not English, but she is quite capable of speaking English. In order to provide her and her children with basic necessities, she receives food from the food bank every week.

8. Describe how a program/organisation monitors and reviews the effectiveness of how they address the social/cultural factors impacting on this client.
9. Suggest one area for improvement - how could your organisation enhance client outcomes in this client's area of disadvantage / inequality.
10. Provide 2 examples that show how values and attitudes can impact this client (either positively or negatively) in staff working with her provision of support and assistance.
