Problem

Identify UE therapeutic exercises (not occupation as a means) used to address the target areas outlined below. Be specific as you are describing exercises, i.e. number of repetitions, positioning of the patient, positioning of any equipment, and, as applicable, specific amount of resistance. Pictures are not necessary but would be helpful.

Write up your exercise plan.

1. AROM (against gravity): Describe 2 exercises for shoulder flexion, 2 exercises for shoulder abduction and 2 exercises for elbow flexion.

2. Strength: (F+ strength in shoulder flexion, F+ strength in shoulder abduction and G strength in elbow flexion) Describe 2 exercises for shoulder flexion, 2 exercises for
shoulder abduction and 2 exercises for elbow flexion)

3. AROM (gravity eliminated/minimized) Describe 2 exercises for shoulder horizontal abduction, 2 for shoulder protraction and 2 for elbow flexion.

4. Self-Assisted Range of Motion or Self-Range of Motion exercises for a patient with flaccid RUE. Describe the exercises for shoulder flexion, shoulder abduction and elbow flexion.
