This essay will explore a topic in popular culture and demonstrate an intersectional feminist analysis.
The class "Introduction to WGS" focused on some of the key concepts (gender, race, class, and sexuality) and it's intersections with institutions like economy, family, media and the State. Also, we read and discussed some of the gains of the women's movement and the continuing struggle for some feminists to address issues of gender, race, sexuality, and politics.
The final essay will be 6 pages in length. The paper will do the following:
