Conduct a value stream mapping exercise for a company of your choice. Value str mapping is a visual tool used to identify waste and inefficiencies in a manufacturin process. See below a template for a value stream mapping exercise that includes the follow steps (I also have included an example, please see attached)

. Identify the value stream: What is the product or service being produced, and is the overall process for creating it?

. Identify the process steps: What are the individual steps in the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished product(s)?

. Identify waste: Identify any non-value-added steps, delays, excess inventory, o other sources of waste in the process.

. Identify opportunities for improvement: Brainstorm potential changes to the process that could reduce waste, improve efficiency, or increase customer value.
