The practical aim of the research literature review is twofold:

1 Ensure you are across the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and how they relate to sport

2 Provide you with the skills to search for, appropriately select, and critically engage with academic research literature

This is expected to be completed in the style of an essay.

You will be required to choose one of the topics below. You will search for and review two peer reviewed academic articles that reflect upon the topic. You will discuss the arguments being made by the authors and how the two articles compliment or contradict each other in examining the relevant topic.

4 Tackling improved nutrition - the issue of sport and junk food

5 Promoting social cohesion through sport

The word limit for the essay is Seven Hundred and fifty words. Penalties are awarded for submissions more than 10% over or under this limit.
