Rocket Joe works very hard as a picker at a local Von's Grocery store and feels his co-workers are not carrying their weight. In fact, he has processed 4 to 5 orders each hour whereas the team average is 3.6 orders. His complaining has "blown" over to his co-workers and they are upset about his negativity. Rocket Joe decides to talk about these problems with local business supplies who bring in their merchandise to stock on the isle shelves in the store. After a few weeks, tensions, and conflicts among the employees at Von's is affecting productivity and even one outside supplier is delivering products when Rocket Joe isn't working. A co-worker in "confidence" reports this to you, the store manager.
As the manager, develop a plan to resolve this situation. Include how will you address Rocket Joe and all employees. Be sure to identify the type of conflicts, and find the required sources to support each of the steps to resolve the conflict, and provide examples of how to approach and resolve the problem.
