You are the training officer in an organization of 500 persons. As part of the business plan the organization hopes to expand island wide with the employment of 78 new persons spread over 7 new outlets. The employment will take place over the next year. Persons to be recruited will include customer care agents, managers, and a divisional manager in charge of the Western Region. HR will design and administer the final testing and selection tools for all person to be employed, current managers and supervisors will be expected to interview all persons short-listed. Training and HR has been mandated to get the managers and supervisors ready for participation in the recruitment drive. Recruitment interviewing will be new for most of the managers.
In the interest of time the following areas of knowledge and skills have been identified as those to be concentrated on.
