Overview
The purpose of this assignment is to bring all the knowledge from the quarter and apply it to a selected criminal. In criminal justice, it is important to be able to look at a case and determine if there are theories that explain behavior and what indicators from the suspect's background could account for their behavior. This assignment will allow you to use the knowledge gained and apply it to an actual case.
Scenario
You are a criminal profiler with your state law enforcement organization and will be presenting information on criminal behavior during a conference where local law enforcement officers will be present. You are to provide a full workup of the selected criminal in order to provide a 2-3 page summary to each of the participants at the conference.
Preparation
For this assignment, you will focus on mass murderers. Select one of the criminals from the following list. Note: You also have the option of selecting a mass murderer not included in this list. However, you will need to get approval from your instructor before proceeding.

Identify the theory that applies to the offender and their criminal behavior. Provide a clear rationale for the selection of the theory.

Why did you select this/these theory/theories for the crime?
