A is a 21-year-old male who is in his final semester in college, who was brought into the office by his mother on the suggestion of his primary care physician. It appears he is experiencing delusions, both persecutory and paranoid, with auditory and somatic hallucinations. Evidence of his persecutory delusion is in his report that his roommates work for MI5 and are tracking him. His beliefs are that his roommates are "out to get" him and they are "putting stuff" into his brain. Other signs of paranoid delusions include the belief that his roommates are listening to him and poisoning his food. He reports he can hear his roommates even when they are not with him and he believes there has been a microchip put in his brain that he can feel.1. Identify the target symptoms/problems
