Company Description versus Company Background or History -
I know there could be some confusion as to which direction you take your work - I thought I posted some information that could help, but let me say again:
Company History/Background - (For an established company - generally for a Project Proposal - usually IT in scope)
Hypothetical Mart, Inc. (Hy-Mart) was founded in 1991 in the Jacksonville, Florida area, Hy-Mart is a leading discount brick-and-mortar retailer, behind Walmart and Target, generally on-par with K-mart; however, the chain has continued to achieve success in this ultra-competitive space where others like K-mart and JCPenney have stumbled in recent years. Hy-Mart sells name-brand and private-label products mostly to low- and middle-income consumers. With its headquarters in Jacksonville, the company currently operates approximately 775 stores throughout the US, predominately in the southeast, northeast, western and Pacific northwestern states, and another 25 in Canada, mostly in the large urban markets of Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.
We aim to design, implement, configure, and turn up innovative IT infrastructure to support Hy-Mart's GEP implementation strategy to seize a significant piece of online retail market in a robust e-commerce storefront and web interface in time to capitalize on the crucial 4Q-2016 retail selling season.

Nightglow Electronics is poised to be an online custom electronics company specializing in unique and innovative home use electro-optical products. The products will range in complexity, but most will utilize lights and an optical phenomenon to produce a visually appealing presentation. Nightglow Electronics will produce four distinct products - color organs, laser aquariums, glowing bottles, and dispersion lamps. Each product offered could be modified to meet customer requests. The customization options available on the color organs and laser aquariums are virtually infinite while the glowing bottles and dispersion lamps will have much more limited customization possibilities. Our products are perfect for man caves, home bars, parties, recreation rooms, and any distinct area that could use some extra flare. Based on the item and customization requested, the products can function as subtle artwork displays or attention-grabbing devices.
