Question: Describe a conflict that either a) you were involved in; b) witnessed and observed IRL; or c) watched in a fictional context like a television show, movie, or play. Be detailed about the people involved, the context (place, time, event etc) and what the conflict was. Basically set the scene for us. Then:

What cultural factors do you think, if any, influenced perceptions of power and conflict styles.

What nonverbal do you recall that would illustrate the perceived power and conflict styles of those involved (for example intense eye contact or yelling, using intimate space or public space).
What principles of conflict, power, of interpersonal communication in general did you see.
Finally what was the result of the conflict and what affect did it have on you (this can be answered even if the conflict was fictional. It must have had some impact if you remember it enough to talk about here). Did the experience influence how you engaged in conflict after that?
