It's like bowling or fishing or dirtbiking for other people. It's part of our heritage and our freedom, And some of the most enjoyable times I've had with my kids have been in that environment.

"But there is constant pressure from people who would like to take away the privilege of owning a gun. It's always been difficult for me to understand why they want to restrict legitimate use of firearms. It's not a social problem. The social problem is the illegitimate use of firearms, which should be taken care of by our courts and legal system."I support the NRA because it is the most effective way for individuals to join together in supporting the rights of legitimate users of firearms. Without those rights, the privilege and enjoyment of the hunting experience might be lost for me and my kids. We'd be missing a lot."
