Problem Overview: In the US, the proportion of adults who are obese has steadily risen. Overeating and inactive lifestyles are the two primary contributors to obesity. Currently Mississippi holds the record of highest obesity rate of 39.7%.

Purpose and Focus: The objective of this initiative is to provide effective health guidance and promote a healthy lifestyle in order to reduce obesity among adults aged between 40 to 47 years in Mississippi. The key focus is to ask them to follow portion control with more green and natural food.

Target Audience: Middle aged adults between 40 to 47 years who neglect their diet and consume unhealthy and greasy food.

SMART Objectives:

Knowledge: Increase awareness regarding the negative effects of obesity by 28% in the next two years.

Behaviour: To change the behaviour of eating unhealthily and increase the effectively balanced diet by 30% by the end of 2024.
