HIV is a significant worldwide health problem and presently no "cure" exists once individuals are infected. Significant discussion is thus centered on how we can avoid future infections. Select only one of the health behavior i.e., stages of change model, health belief model, or theory of planned behavior) and use its principles to design an intervention that targets teenagers and attempts to reduce their risk of contracting HIV. The central goal is to use a general theory to guide a specific intervention.
