Question: Sam and Becky have been dating for about 8 months. Sam has an old car, and wants to get rid of it. Becky is in need of a car. Sam agrees to sell the car for $1,000, but he knows Becky cannot afford to pay the full $1,000 at one time. So, Sam emails Becky and says - "Hey Becky, I will sell you my car for $1,000, and you can pay me the $1,000 in 5 monthly payments of $200 each, and once you pay me half of the money that is due, I will transfer title to you and you can start driving it." Sam always has his email set up to get a confirmation receipt when someone opens an email he sent them. He receives the confirmation that Becky opened the email. And, a few minutes latter, he gets an email replay from Becky that says "awesome, your the best, but gotta pay you $100 a month for 10 months." Becky also gets confirmations when someone opens an email from her. She received an email confirmation back from Sam showing he read the email. Becky then sends a check to Sam for $100, and Sam cashes it. A few weeks go buy and before the second payment is due, Sam and Becky get into a big fight, and breakup and stop dating. Becky is so mad, that she sends Sam another email stating she does not want to buy the car, and wants her $100 back. Sam responds back to Becky via email - "I know you want your money back - but you can't have it - you agreed to buy my car, and I am holding you to our deal - and by the way, you are a terrible cook, you make the worst pot roast I have ever tasted!"

Is Sam correct, do Sam and Becky have an enforceable contract? If so, what are the terms of such contract?
