Read Chapter 5 - This chapter discusses how to implement a variety of cybersecurity strategies using best practices.
Review Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 7.
Instructions - Assignments in this course require you to adopt a context that ties back to your specialization (General Cybersecurity) within the degree. Include the focus areas that were a part of your specialization throughout all assignments.
This week, you will pull together all of the deliverables completed to build an information security and assurance plan emphasizing organizational strategy. Using your selected organization(MediSecure Company)and your specialization area(General Cybersecurity), write a formal paper appropriate for the leadership of your selected organization (C-Suite) that advances information security and assurance planning using the organizational strategy. Finalize the work you completed in Weeks 1-7 to provide an integrated and strategically aligned, comprehensive management approach for cybersecurity.
Specifically, include the following information in the paper:
Advocate for an organizational posture on information security and assurance based on the strategy for the business objectives and mission of an organization.
Justify the need for improved strategic outcomes through the proper management of cybersecurity and related strategies and processes.
Factor in the appropriate expectations and practices that one can anticipate for the related industry of your selected organization.
Include a progression from the current state to the desired state in the future as part of the strategic view.
Account for local and global changes from external and internal factors and identify your proposed changes to resources necessary to deliver what you propose.
Identify the implications of any outsourcing and consulting activities from external parties within your response.
Use the narrative and an image or table as effective visualizations to create a SWOT analysis, PESTEL analysis, or a value chain analysis.
Create at least two images or tables from the following list:
-A Risk Matrix (for top risks identified for an organization)
-Frameworks
-Models
-Standards
Length: 18 to 20-page formal paper, minimum of 4 original images, tables, or diagrams as effective and meaningful visualizations. The title page should include your degree specialization and the name of the case study organization.
References: Include a minimum of 4 scholarly references in addition to those used in the course resources.
The completed assignment should address all of the assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course. The writing should integrate scholarly resources, reflect academic expectations and current APA standards.
