Identify the group of approximately 10 participants you want to teach & make sure they will be available for both teaching sessions, approximately one week apart. You will need to teach two "live" classes. Identify their educational need. What is it they need to learn!?! Choose a topic that you will find "easy" to teach as the intent of the graded assignment focuses on your teaching plan, not what you teach.

Complete your 2 teaching sessions. Then develop your PowerPoint presentation based on:

• the methodology you used to identify your group &
• their educational need:
• how you plan,
• implement &
• evaluate the teaching project.

You do NOT need to include what you teach your group, consider, being a nurse for over 40 years, I know most things related to healthcare. What I really want to know is how you plan, implement & evaluate your teaching project.

I can't stress enough to prepare at least 2 slides for each "item to include" in your presentation as listed in the assignment. It reminds me of telling a story about your group and teaching project, "a presentation that details the entire process: your chosen topic, the teaching style you used, and an evaluation of your actual teaching". Do not include more than 1-2 slides on your chosen topic. The intent of the presentation is to discuss the "process" of your teaching project. Include a slide with one or two pictures of you teaching your group to verify your teaching. Evaluate the project, what went well, what did not, what you would change if you taught this subject in the future.
