Imagine that you are a scientist and you have just discovered a protein in jellyfish that gives off green light. You don't know the gene from which the protein is made but you do know the first ten amino acids of the protein (assume the jellyfish genome has not been sequenced). How could you use a cDNA library to identify the gene and make large amounts of the protein in bacteria? Please include all the steps you would take and what tools (enzymes, plasmids, etc..) you would use to accomplish this. You can describe this or draw a labeled diagram.
