You have been asked to develop a presentation for professionals, such as educators, community centers, and social workers, who work with children. This presentation will provide information related to child psychology that would help address one of the chosen topics (bullying, divorce, death of a parent, family geographic move, or a chronically ill child/child with a disability). You have been tasked to research and integrate content that provides a foundation to better understand the psychological challenges for elementary or middle school (choose one of the age groups for this assignment) children that are facing the chosen situation.

In the presentation include research for the chosen age group that supports how these elements relate to the chosen topic (bullying, divorce, death of a parent, family geographic move, or a chronically ill child/child with a disability) and the behavioral, emotional, and cognitive impact on the child.

- Identify the developmental milestones (cognitive development) for the chosen age group and how the chosen topic may impact this development.

- Influence from family and peers that may impact the child regarding the chosen issue.

- Evaluate the chosen age group's critical elements of physical, brain, and motor skill development as it relates to dealing with the chosen issue.
Based on material presented conclude with recommendations and key considerations when counseling or working with a child experiencing this issue.
The presentation will include empirically validated reasoning for your chosen topic. The presentation should be a minimum of nine PowerPoint slides (not counting your title slide and reference slides). The presentation will clearly illustrate the noted bullets. Note that in addition to providing information on the slides themselves, you will also develop supported and cited written information in the presenter notes area for each slide as evidence for and description of the content you include on the slide itself.

The assignment must include at least 4 peer-reviewed, scholarly resources outside of the textbook. Utilize the Baker Online Library and locate supporting articles from the provided peer-reviewed journal list. APA formatting for the references is required. Cite all resources. (SLO 5, 6, 7, & 8)

I choose the Bullying subject and the age group is between 10 and 14 years old.

I will use this to show the behavioral expectations for the chosen age group, I was wondering if I can include the sources of aggression and how it can affect a young child`s cognitive and behavior pattern. In other word, also show the behavior pattern of child who bullies others.
- The family has a real influence on teenagers and young people today. Indeed, it is one of the social instances most present around people aged 12 to 14 for example, and it influences many times our consumption, our lifestyle, and our decisions. We must also add that she is the principal actress of primary socialization that takes place during childhood. Several parent agree on the devastating consequences of jokes and negative comments from peers on self-esteem, bodily dissatisfaction for example.

I will find some informations that demonstrate the serious impact on children's health does not cease when abuse stops but increases with the passage of time. Teasing is always a direct impact on the child's health by increasing symptoms of depression and low self-esteem. Students who suffer chronic harassment during these years have shown a significant decline in their health, with significant difficulties in performing physical activities such as walking, running or playing sports.
