The goal of this assignment is to read the literature review section of a journal article and identify the various components of a well-written literature review. These include identifying a gap in the literature, the null and alternative hypotheses, the independent variable, the dependent variables and an operational definition.

Read the literature review (pp. 56-57) for the following article:
