Part I - Essay
For the Unit I Essay, using the information in your assigned readings and experiences, please select a conflict you
observed recently. In a 500-word response, identify and discuss the following:
1. Identify and interpret the characteristics of the negotiation situation.
2. Describe the levels of and functions/dysfunctions of the conflict.
3. Explain the style you would use, or did use, to resolve the interpersonal conflict.
4. Explain the positions taken in negotiation.
Your assignment must:
Be a minimum of 500 words.
Include an introduction which summarizes the main points of the essay and identifies the relevance of the assignment to the course topic(s).
Be typed, double-spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides; citations and references must follow APA format.
