Simulation Scenario: Measles Exposure
You are working in a pediatric office. It is a busy day and there are many infants in the waiting room. A patient presents with measles-like symptoms. You must be prepared to deal with the exposure of measles in the office. You will have to identify the risk, isolate the patient with suspected measles and then speak to other patients-regarding possible exposure. In this scenario it is important that you are able to explain the rationale for performing a procedure ( i.e. vaccinations)

Three children and their parents will be in the office waiting room. There are four medical assistants (3 clinical/1 admin) and a provider in the office today.
