Case Study: Locate and analyze a television advertisement created and used by the 2020 Trump campaign or the 2020 Biden campaign. The television advertisement should be at least thirty seconds in length and no longer than sixty seconds (one minute) and can likely be found and accessible on YouTube or possibly the candidate's official campaign web-page, Facebook page, or Twitter page (if they are still operational). Candidate appearances or interviews on television or internet-based shows are not appropriate to use for this assignment. Address the following questions in your response:

Question 2: Identify the primary intended purpose of the ad (to inform, mobilize, persuade, remind, demobilize, and contribute).

Question 3: Did the ad contain any element(s) of deception that was strategically intended? If so, describe the aspect(s) of the ad that was intended to be strategically deceptive.

Question 4: How did you perceive the candidate(s) in the ad and what visual images were used to convey that perception? Did those visual images enhance and augment an intended deception?

Question 5: An overall judgment (one to five stars) of how well the ad succeeds on the strength of its content, that is, without consideration for the ad's context or placement/buy, and how well does the ad communicate its intended purpose to its audience.
