Personalities have a very important roles within every team. A person's personality can have them fall into specific maintenance and task roles within a team. Team task roles include: Initiator, information provider, information seeker, summarizer, elaborator, and consensus taker . The team lead might have to take the role of initiator and consensus taker as the person in charge of the group. Group members that have a futuristic theme in their top five can fulfil the role of information seeker, while analytical members can fill the role of information provider. A developer themed person might take the role of elaborator amongst the team members, taking into account everyone's thoughts and elaborating further. Maintenance roles, on the other hand, takes individuals "soft skills" into consideration. These roles are: encourager, harmonizer, standards monitor, gatekeeper, and tension reliever . A team member with the positivity or relator theme can act as encourager, harmonizer, or gatekeeper of the group, while standards monitor and tension reliever can fall onto team members with a command or restorative theme. All in all, any theme in a person can fall into any role within a team, but team fluidity is more streamlined if the person has themes similar to the roles they play within their team.
