As an Advanced Practice Nurse, I have choose to focus on client satisfaction because I want to show my patients that I would do everything in my power to ensure they are respected and given fair treatment. Client satisfaction is crucial because it builds more trust, encourages patients to follow their treatment regimens which will lead to improved health. In addition to treating patients with empathic and compassionate care, I want my clinic to be a place where they feel valued and respected for their health. Select one CQI framework that can be applied to the selected initiative. Explain each step of the framework. The Continuous Quality Improvement framework I would apply to improve client satisfaction is the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycle. Plan: I would Identify the problem or potential for growth with client satisfaction. I would ask patients for their opinions, acknowledging any major issues that they felt needed to be improved, such as treatment explanations, wait times, or communication (Abuzied et al., 2023). Do: I would make small modifications focused on enhancing those specific areas. I could start using methods such as providing more time.
