There are many jobs that exist in the growing field of sport communications. As the business of sports has evolved, so have the jobs within the field. In this project you will identify two potential positions in the sport communications field and then provide a detailed analysis of the positions and discuss your opinion of them.

Identify two potential positions in the sport communication field, one of which you would like to pursue as a career.

For each position:

o Describe the functions of the job.

What are the responsibilities of the role, such as preperation and anchor sports segment and sports stories for weekend evening shows?

o Describe the skills required for the job.

What skills and abilities are needed to execute job duties, such as software and computer proficiency, interpersonal skills, writing skills, fact checking, or transcription?
