2. research and select current, reliable resources to determine hazard levels and applicable United States and global policies, regulations, and laws

You are to conduct a hazard analysis evaluation of two chemicals, one a liquid, and one a gas. The liquid you choose must be either Benzene or Acetone. The gas you choose must be either Anhydrous Ammonia, Chlorine, Carbon Monoxide, or Hydrogen Sulfide.

Your hazard analysis evaluation must include the following information for the liquid and for the gas:

the name of the chemical
its chemical abstract number
its UN number
its DOT class and guide number
the physical and chemical characteristics of the chemical, including, but not limited to, its molecular weight, its odor and appearance, its flash point, its flammable limits, its boiling point, its melting or freezing point, its specific gravity when water = 1, its vapor or gas density where air = 1, and any other characteristic unique to its hazard
the chemical's human-health-protection limits found in OSHA's PELs, NIOSH's RELs, NIOSH's IDLH levels, ACGIH's TLVs, and

EPA regulations for reportable quantities and threshold planning levels under SARA and CERCLA
its regulatory threshold quantities found in the EPA Regulations for 40 CFR 68 (EPA's Risk Management Program) and in 29 CFR 1910.119 (OSHA's Process Safety Management Program)
the personal-protection equipment required for both the routine workers and the emergency responders handling the chemical
