Problem

Background: An engineering and consultancy firm has set up a Business Experience (BX) group/platform to improve the user experience that employees and leaders have with corporate processes. The BX team directly receives the ideas from the leadership teams (functional services and operations advisory) and processes them by evaluating and determining the business value. However, employees submit the ideas first to the Idea Machine from where the BX team determines if the ideas are in inline with the objective of the company or not, and then they pull the script to the BX to process it.

The volume of ideas received through the Idea Machine is overwhelming, and the BX team struggles to manage the increasing workload and backlog. The problem, defined in three words, is "Idea Management Overload".
