Assignment 1: Using a web search engine such as Google, Bing, or yahoo, Locate three analytical maps using GIS technology. For each of the three maps you fins, describe at least one key observation that can be made from the map. Examples of search terms that are likely to return a appropriate results may include: GIS healthcare mapping" or "GIS health (or public health) mapping." Copy the URL for the maps you find and paste them Microsoft . Also, below each of the URLs, type in one or two sentences, write your description of the key observation from each map.

You must up load the file here and describe what is contained in the .shapefile and how it might be used in the text box below. NOTE: You may not be able to open the .shapefile, unless you possess a GIS software. However, you still will be able to know what the file contains from where the site you download it. Also, some thematic maps that you may encounter in your research, could be downloadable as a zipfile, in which you my find multiple shapefiles. Just up load one and comment on the overall content in Microsoft.
