Discuss the statement: "Corporate responsibility is a continuum and should follow a capability-based approach". You are required to identify relevant academic articles to build your arguments. To help you get started re-read the articles by Wettstein (2012)and Sinkovics et al. (2015) discussed in class. Ideally, in addition to your discussion you will also construct a framework/typology that captures different degrees of responsibility based on the extent of existing firm capabilities. Write a mini case study about each company demonstrating how it fits the category. Make sure you sufficiently justify your choice. The companies can be from any part of the world. Also discuss, whether these companies could upgrade to a higher degree of responsibility and what they would need to do to achieve that. What are the barriers they are facing that currently keep them in their present category. Word limit: Approximately 2000 words.
