Melissa has now sued the Lakeview Hotel for negligence, alleging that marble is by its nature slippery, and that Lakeview was negligent is using it for the bathroom floor. She does not allege that there was any defect in the floor; she is simply claiming that marble is too slippery to be used at all. Will she succeed?
