You are going to write a short story using the main idea and names of the characters below. Your story should be 1000 to 1500 words long and include dialogue, descriptive details, and figurative language. At the end of the story, identify instances of figurative language that you used and what categories they fit under.

The story shouldn't be exact from the main idea. u create a present story for example: the beginning starts off as Anna is in the living room with her cat swinging on the rocking chair as her 2 of married sons are coming over to visit her. Out of expectation the door knocks as she knows its her sons. Anna says "Coming son" as they knock at the door. "Welcome my beautiful children" and it goes on from their about her homemade sweets as a story.

Characters: Chris, Noah, Shawn, and the mother, Anna

Main Idea: A aged woman in her 40s who lives alone with a cat. She's a hands-on parent, more like a housewife. All she did was spend time with 3 of her sons Chris, Noah, and Shawn before they got off to college and were married off. Chris and Noah were married, and Shawn was still in college. As there isn't anything to do alone, she decides to make homemade desserts. As time passes, she realizes she should take the risk and open a cafe with all her homemade desserts. Little did she know this is gonna be a life-changing chance. She calls her sons to tell them the idea, however, they tell her that she's crazy because its too late and she should just stay home and they will provide everything for her. But the mother did not expect her son's response, she, however, thinks to herself "what if they are right, what if it doesn't work". She still ends up doing it and looks for a perfect spot for her cafe.

It did take time but she didn't give up. As she opened it up her sons came to see it and noticed how there aren't many people yet but they also realized that this was something their mother wants and it will make her happy so they helped her by spreading flyers around, promoting and advertising it everywhere including the internet and around the neighborhood. The mother's cafe eventually blew up, her desserts were sold worldwide and celebrities would come and visit her cafe to taste her amazing desserts.
