TASK 1
Utilizing a business you work for, have access to or a simulated business, in consultation with your Assessor, you are to review the recordkeeping framework applied by the organization.
The objective of this assessment task is to:
1. analyse information from a range of sources to identify how the recordkeeping framework can address compliance requirements, risks and liabilities arising from:
•legislation and regulations that apply to the organization
•the social context
•business functions within the organization
•identified risks and liabilities
2. Develop and implement a framework for recordkeeping to meet the identified issues and needs including:
•rights, responsibilities, accountabilities and authorities
•specific records and evidence to be kept
•technologies, standards and processes for recordkeeping
3. Consult and communicate with relevant stakeholders to encourage input to, understanding of and engagement with recordkeeping framework
4. Establish processes and responsibilities for review of the record keeping framework.
