Question: Rossi Systems is a utility contractor based in Edmonton, Alberta. Rossi's main business is working as an installation and maintenance subcontractor for established telecommunications utilities (e.g. Telus, Bell, etc.) Rossi has operations in major centres across Western Canada with specialized crews assigned to specific, ongoing contract assignments. In addition, Rossi crews will be dispatched to assist in emergency response to service outages as needed.

Each crew has several vehicles (vans and trucks) and has access to additional heavy equipment, such as cherry pickers, cranes, and diggers, as required. Each vehicle carries a core set of specialized parts and tools, and additional items are obtained as required from a local storage warehouse. Each local warehouse is staffed on a 24-hour basis to assist night maintenance (designed to minimize disruption to business customers) and emergency response. Rossi's main warehouse in Edmonton processes local warehouse restocking requests on a weekly basis.
