Part A: Develop a position paper

This part of the activity requires you to develop a position paper to prepare for a meeting with staff members to persuade them to adopt working for home arrangements and conduct negotiations.

To do so, complete the Position Paper Template on student portal, by following the steps below:

Step 1. Identify five benefits of working from home.

Step 2. Outline one example that demonstrates any of the five benefits you identified in Step 1.

Step 3. Identify three potential barriers to implement work-from-home arrangements.

Step 4. Identify a solution to each potential barrier you identified in Step 3.

Step 5. Identify any possible resistance to the change in work arrangements to work-from-home.

Step 6. Identify any strategies to overcome the resistance to change you identified in Step 5.
