Identify any ethical issue in the field of advertising or human resource management and briefly explain why it is an ethical concern. Then state what should be the universal rule, that if everyone followed, would remove that problem. Feel free to research what are considered ethical concerns in these two general areas if you cannot think of one yourself. It would be great if everyone chose a different ethical concern. :)
For example, omitting important information or making false claims about the quality or capability of a product. This is deceiving the customer. If this was to be accepted in society, we would never know if what we purchased was going to do the job we wanted it to do and could never rely on information provided. Trust in the market system would completely disintegrate and manufacturers would also never know if what they were getting from suppliers is what was agreed or expected. The universal rule would have to be that sellers must always be honestly disclose the quality and capability of their products and services.
