A firm has developed a new product that helps sanitize and purify air conditioners. This new product is very dependable and inexpensive. Besides air conditioning, it could also provide an inexpensive option for automobile systems and airplane purification. The firm has hired you as a consultant for the successful national launch of this product. Think about current consumer needs with respect to air purification. Then, do the following:

- Identify different segments of the market that you feel could benefit from the product.

- Discuss your recommendation on which segments of the market to target first.

When responding to other students, keep in mind your recent experience with purchasing a new product. What made you purchase the product? Was the product targeted to you?
