Summarize and describe the city where you were born or currently reside in terms of its location, size (number of residents), economic base (for example, agriculture, manufacturing), types of nonprofit organizations with a health focus (such as the American Diabetes Association, Alcoholics Anonymous, and so forth), number of hospitals and clinics, and universities and/or colleges. Do a Google search for your city and report these data about your city. Provide the link(s) where you obtain this information.

Also, search and identify two health problems that are related to nutrition that are prevalent in the city where you were born. Provide the link(s) where you obtain this information.

Review the website of your local or county health department. Keeping in mind the health problems that exist in your community, identify the public health programming that addresses them. State two main findings for each of the health problems you identify, including the extent to which public health professionals and organizations in your community address these health issues in general and with respect to nutrition in particular.
