Healthcare systems depend on reliable information emerging from research for policy formulation as well as on the planning and improvement of the quality of services. The unique features of qualitative research give depth to research results because researchers can obtain certain information that is unobtainable with quantitative methods. The application of health research is important today.

For this assignment, complete the following tasks:

-Identify at least five (5) basic features of qualitative research.

-Briefly explain each feature.

-Discuss how the qualitative approach provides a deeper understanding of the lives of the population and their health situations.

-Use your understanding of the features to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of qualitative research.There should be a minimum of five (5) pages, not including the title and reference pages. Remember to use the APA style for references.
