DQ 1- Courage is grace under pressure
People are drawn to leaders that express a positive disposition, are extroverted, and appear to possess heightened intelligence in their professional field. Additionally, charismatic leaders who are observed as possessing increased political skill in conjunction with keen inquisitiveness are more apt to influence followers' perceptions (Blickle et al., 2014). If a leader is void of charisma, members will not place confidence in the vision presented. Given this circumstance, the organization is at risk of members leaving the organization or members carrying out what they identify as the greatest need for refinement or what is identified as the easiest task to complete, thus challenging the leader's proposed vision.
Charismatic leadership is essential when attempting to unify and rally members of an organization. Being able to produce effective strategies is an additionally important component of a leader, but strategic planning does not possess the ability to create momentum for a cause in isolation.

DQ 2- Courage is grace under pressure
Certainly, "leadership is a complex notion for sure. It is not easy, and some decisions are very difficult to make." As a leader, the leaders often find themselves in the position that they have to make decisions in tough situations; this is one of the biggest challenges in leadership; perhaps, some leaders might be able to handle, others probably can't. Regardless, the approach that the leaders take defines their leadership; and we can be judged by others largely on the basis of how well we administrate under pressure.
Therefore, I believe that in order to be successful, a leader under pressure needs a special push, they need the courage so that they can be lifted up to be successful. Aristotle called courage the first virtue, because it makes all the other virtues to be possible. In addition courage is the most important human virtue, it is the most significant business virtue, as well. Enright and White (2012) indicate that "other important business concepts, like leadership, innovation and sales, wither in the absence of courage" (p. 809).
