For this task you are to complete the following activity to demonstrate your ability to analyse stakeholder requirements in compliance stakeholder and organisational requirements through defining, specifying and prioritising at least three (3) different stakeholder requirements and solutions.
To prepare for the task for each requirement, complete the following steps to identify and organise the requirements:
1. Determine, and document, the basis for the prioritisation of the requirements.
2. Identify and resolve any challenges in facilitating the prioritisation.
3. Obtain and articulate stakeholder requirements according to organisational polices and guidelines.
4. Work according to the established procedures to prioritise stakeholder requirements.
5. Consult with required personnel to discuss the potential solutions to address stakeholder needs
6. Based on the informational needs of the stakeholders, develop and record the appropriate models to describe the solution scope
7. Determine and document any requirement dependencies and inter-relationships.
Complete the following actions to specify and model each of the different requirements:
8. Develop, and record, the textual requirements according to organisational requirements
9. Generate matrices that convey or support the identified requirements.
10. Create and document models to communicate the requirements and improvement opportunities to required personnel
Define the assumptions and constraints through completion of the following steps for each requirement:
11. Agree on, and note, the assumptions which are to be defined and clarified.
12. Document and examine the business constraints, identifying and noting the options which are no longer available.
13. Recognise, and examine, any technical constraints that may restrict the design or that may mandate the standards that are to be followed.
Compete the following actions to verify and validate each of the requirements:
14. Consult with relevant others to establish, and document, the characteristics for quality requirements.
15. Undertake verification activities iteratively throughout the requirements analysis process.
16. Identify, and record, the risks and threats arising from the stakeholder requirements, and manage them accordingly.
17. Identify, and define, the stakeholder requirement benefit assumptions, and manage the associated risks.
18. Create and document measurable evaluation criteria to assess the success of the requirements benefit, post implementation.
19. Assign the requirements with business value to assist in identifying candidates for elimination.
20. Determine, and document, the requirement dependencies for benefits realisation
21. Evaluate the alignment with the business case and opportunity cost.
22. Document and record research and findings applicable to stakeholder requirements
