Then, describe the fundamental purpose of the standards/regulations that you listed. For example, PPE is an OSHA standard that requires employee training related to why PPE is required (i.e., safety glasses provide protection from flying debris from a grinder), how to use the PPE, limitations of the PPE, and proper care and maintenance of the PPE. Other than compliance with an OSHA regulation, what other benefits can you identify that are derived from employee training?
