At the completion of these assessments, students will be able to:

Assignment-1: Group Report

Project Requirements Analysis and Specification

1. Introduction Is the topic introduced appropriately, and is there a clear overview of what will be discussed in the report?

2. Problem domain and research questions Has the student identified a research problem and described it clearly? Are the research questions relevant to the problem being studied?

3. Background and Project Objective Clear aim and objectives of the project.

Has the student conducted an in-depth literature review on the chosen topic (please check for quality of the papers, variety of research sources including journals and conference publications)?

Is the summary of the literature review clear, specific and does it capture the essence of the literature review being conducted? Is the summary of all papers reviewed conform guidelines provided in Appendix II: Literature Review Summary? [Each student should refer to a minimum of 6 (three journal papers, three peer reviewed conference papers)].

Does this section specify objectives of the research project in a clear and concise manner?

Project Proposal

1. Background and Rationale for the project
Babatye sells its product through their main website and also on third party platform like eBay and Amazon. During that process the customer often like to contact Babatye. Currently Babatye communicate only via email. However, in addition to that Babatye aims to introduce a voice recognition system against a phone number using W3C Standards VoiceXML.

2. Project goals and Objectives
The aim of the proposed system is to allow a customer to ring a phone number and have their questions answered via an automated system. The objective is to provide a greater user experience to the customers who are not happy with email communication.

3. Desired Outcomes/Deliverables
• A system that is capable of automatically answer customers' quires.
• A system capable to integrate with the existing website in order to fetch the correct answers.
• A faster and satisfactory user experience with the help precise information retrieval.
