Project sponsor: Faith Umar, CEO
Project Scope
We would like to launch a new business to encourage more people to ride bicycles by building and selling affordable, high quality bikes; teach people how to fix their own bikes by holding regular bike repair classes and providing space, materials and tools for education; divert waste from the landfill by accepting used bicycles and parts as donations and re-building and selling reconditioned bikes; and create community for cycling enthusiasts by planning and hosting workshops, special events and community celebrations and by maintaining a location where people can come together to share ideas, inspiration and learn from one another. We are becoming more knowledgeable about the bicycle industry in the United Kingdom since arriving from Nigeria six months ago.
We are looking to launch this new business as we work to develop a business plan. The business plan will include a marketing plan and information systems plan. We can provide access to internal documentation other information as needed. We would like to develop a strong, competitive business plan, which we can present to investors. We are seeking raise £500,000 from investors. We would also like to achieve a desired net profit of £75,000 by the end of the first year of operations.
