You will be required to select one stage of human development from list 1(provided towards the end of this section) and. draw on relevant nursing, midwifery and social 005(5 literature. write an essay WI the development of set- identity. Self-concept and/or self-esteem of individuals in the developmental stage you have selected. You are expected to:
- Identify and discuss the normative (predictable) physical socio-cultural and cognitive aspects of this developmental stage in the lifespan (choose the most appropriate aspects to address according to your chosen topic,
- Use the work by at least one(1) theorist from List 2 (also provided towards the end of this sections) and/or other relevant literature to support your discussion:
- Identify and describe at least one (1) non-normative unpredictable) life transition which may occur in the development stage you have selected, in your discussion
- Explore development of an individual's self identity. self-concept and/or self-esteem(choose the most appropriate aspects to address according to your chosen. and
State how an understanding of the normative (predictable) and non-normative (unpredictable), physical, socio-cultural and/or cognitive aspects of your selected developmental stage contributes to nursing and midwifery practice. You are required to meat lust two 07 NIMBA (20.) standards for practice with reference to supporting elements/sub-points of these standards to support your justification.
