This assessment activity requires you to respond critically to visual excerpts from a chosen film. In order to go ‘behind the scenes’, you need to not only assess the verbal/visual techniques you are presented with but also justify why these have been used and the success of them. This will require you to draw from other parts of the film and closely examine director’s intent and purpose. You will close view TWO chosen moments from a film. You can use the template provided to collate your analysis, draw conclusions and make judgements. You must get your film and your chosen moments approved by your teacher.
