In some cases, leaders have the best intentions when implementing a CSR initiative but fail due to a number of strategic planning errors. For example, leaders may not consider restructuring the organization to meet financial goals and CSR goals, but may mistakenly assume that employees will automatically engage in activities to meet CSR goals.
