  • Identify the most critical issue(s), challenge(s), and/or goal(s) Bed, Bath, and Beyond needs to address in order to establish and/or maintain a strong industry position. Provide a rationale for your selection.
  • Use either Porter's forces analysis, a PESTLE analysis coupled with VRIO, or a value chain analysis in the strategic analysis section.
  • Make sure to assess the financial health of the firm by analyzing the firm's financial statements. Be sure to use key ratios and any additional indicators that support your analysis. These may include such measures as profitability, return on investment/capital, turnover analysis, margin analysis, liquidity/short-term solvency, and long-term solvency/leverage.
  • If applicable, discuss the company's leadership, strategic tradeoffs that need to be considered, and macro-environmental factors.
  • If applicable, identify any trends, ethical or legal issues, and responsible business practices the company should address.
