Dana said - The organization I chose for this week's discussion topic is my current employer, Quality Resource Management, LLC., a third-party administrator, claims intake center for insurance companies. The services entail receiving worker's compensation, general liability, and automotive claims, as well as private company dispatch. The management team consists of many leaders who must run each department and location effectively; each manager has their specific tasks to finish as each department differs from the next. Guiding colleagues with a sense of focus on the organization's mission, optimizing resources, people management, and being accountable are the top managerial functions of every organization (Laureate Education 2019).
At QRM, LLC., managers are responsible for thorough auditing of each claim taken to guarantee employees are following the contract's standards with each entity, and every claim is filed accurately. Sustaining proper IT structure between remote and in-office employees is vital for business success as a lack of IT functions would not allow the company to operate. Constant communication with clients and employees preserves trust in relations and keeps every party informed of all news or upcoming changes. To avoid unnecessary fines or fees to our company or customers, specific to my current position in EDI, managers must maintain trading partner agreements between the clients, state departments, and QRM, LLC. These are simply a few of the top functions of the managers within our organization, but they are crucial for the business's success.
Respond to the posting in one of the following ways:
-Identify an additional managerial function that might be applicable to your colleague's selected organization, and describe why it could contribute to the organization's success.
-Suggest an additional type of organization in which one of your colleague's selected functions would also be critically important, and provide a rationale to support your answer.
